I want to learn Shadow Fiend in General Discussion
Hamagregorin

    Hi guys,
i'm a position 4 player playing on Legend 4, which wants to learn some heros for midlane.
First i want to play Shadow Fiend and I could need some Insane-Pro-Dotabuff-User-Knowledge.

    1. At high level, most of the SFs go for Euls into Blink, is it at Legend 4 maby easier to start (better to learn) with Shadow Blade into SnY, because the supports dont buy enough Sentrys and noone watches the map?

    2. Which item build do you prefer personally and why?

    3. Do you have any special trick oder something nice to know?

    4. Which player you think is the best SF to watch and learn at the moment.

    5. Midlaners i should learn next? (everything exept Tinker, i hate this hero and i just dont want to play this shit)

        1. Yes
        2. Item build really depends a lot on the enemy line up and your objectives.
        3. Clockwerk cog deny
        4. Watch this SF coaching session from BSJ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg2SCYn-H98
        5. Any midlaners that you are comfortable using.

I highly recommend you watch BSJ coaching vids if you want to improve. Even as a Divine player, I still learned a whole lot of things watching those.

Euls is overrated. Its pretty situational. You can get it if you wanna dispel silence/root/gale/cursed crown etc.

If you wanna play magic sf go for drums, blink, bkb. Drums is good on both magical and physical sf so you can keep your build flexible for a longer amount of time and not let your enemies know what style you're gonna go for.

If you're going rightclick you don't necessarily need a shadow blade. Get it if you're snowballing hard and feel like you can find some pickoffs with it.

Seems like a plan, thanks. :D

Do i go Drums and Aquilla or then just Drums? Umbranox

SF is really weak against both physical and magical damage (low hp pool and armor) which is why you depend a lot of your item choices. Be a lot careful at what you're building, nuker or hitter it depends at the game situation.
