dude it's valve...
after TI7 they discovered that making cosmetics untradeable and unmarketable sells waaay more
I don't expect any TI8 immortals to be tradeable or marketable

Is that giftable?

if you think about the number of cosmetics you have and never use, it is kind of obvious that the secondary market is terrible for valve.

It isn't terrible they get 15% from any product resold there

That means an item need to be resold 7 times before they make as much as selling a new one...well, 6.66 times...(assuming resell price is same as new)
