Denmark has always been the best country. You could try Island or Finland too or even The Fareoe Islands ;)
Northern Cyprus is a hidden gem, really recommend reading about it. People speak english there, i think? Very relaxed life there, people are slow and simple. I've heard that it's the same as in Turkey. Mongolia is kinda the same. Very friendly people. Dunno about cyprus, but, life in mongolia, russia, all east in general, should be relatively very cheap.

What about Thailand? I was told by people who spent some time there that living in that country is amazing, it's cheap, there's good food and the beaches are breathtaking. Don't know much about the political and economic situation though.
Also if you're rich you can try Italy, you have great food, history and amazing landscapes everywhere and a wonderful government that does everything to fuck the middle-lower class in favor of that old and/or rich top 10% of the citizens and the banks. Downsides to this are the high tax rates and the retarded mass immigration from Africa. Or the Netherlands, there's a reason why many brands have their financial center based in there, the laws in matter of taxes and whatnot are more grey than their weather. Plus things work and the government really helps the citizens. Take a look at Belize too, certain parts of it are not dangerous, it's cheap af and the area is amazing.
In 10 years the situation may change a lot though. It's already gonna be radically different in 1-2 years from now, post corona.
